Cookie policy
Last updated: July 2026.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that websites store on the user's device to remember information about their visit: session, preferences, usage statistics or advertising. Alongside them there are similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), which serve comparable purposes. Their use is regulated by Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
The party responsible for this site, gestcampus.com ("GestCampus", a professional online training platform), is Tarraco App Lab, S.L.U. (in the process of incorporation), with registered address at C/ Pau Claris, 2 - 43005 Tarragona, Spain. You can write to us at info@tarracoapplab.com or, for data protection matters, at privacidad@tarracoapplab.com.
2. What this site uses
gestcampus.com uses strictly necessary technical storage in order to function and, only if you accept them, Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies to measure in aggregate which content is useful. We use no advertising or profiling cookies, no tracking pixels and no social buttons with tracking.
Technical storage is exempt from consent under Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and the Guide on the use of cookies issued by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), because it is strictly necessary to provide the service you request yourself. Analytics cookies, however, do require your consent: that is why, on your first visit, you will see a notice where you can accept or reject them, and none is installed until you expressly accept.
3. Details of the storage used
| Name | Type | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| gc_portal | Technical cookie (HttpOnly) | First-party (GestCampus) | Client portal authentication: keeps your session signed in once you access with your credentials. It is only created if you sign in. Being HttpOnly, it cannot be accessed by scripts, which strengthens the security of your session. It is not used for tracking or advertising. | 30 days (or until you sign out) |
| gc-lang | Local storage (localStorage) | First-party (GestCampus) | Remembers your language preference (español, català, euskara, galego or English) so the site is shown in the language you chose. It is not a cookie: it is never sent to any server, contains no identifying data and never leaves your device. | Persistent, until you delete it from your browser |
Both items are technical and first-party: they are exempt from the duty to obtain consent because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you yourself request (keeping your session open and respecting the language you chose), under Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and the AEPD's cookie guide.
4. Analytics cookies (they require your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure, in aggregate and statistical terms, which gestcampus.com content is useful, how many people visit us and from what kind of device. It helps us improve the site: we do not use it to identify you, for advertising or to build profiles.
They are not installed until you accept them. On your first visit a cookie notice is shown with two equally visible and accessible options: Accept and Reject. If you reject them —or simply do not accept them— Google Analytics is not loaded, none of these cookies is written, and the site works exactly the same.
| Name | Type | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Analytics cookie | Google Ireland Ltd. | Distinguish users anonymously in order to build aggregate usage statistics. | 2 years |
| _ga_8M0D5S22LP | Analytics cookie | Google Ireland Ltd. | Maintain the analytics session state of the Google Analytics 4 property. | 2 years |
We have enabled IP address anonymisation and Google Consent Mode v2: until you accept, consent remains in the denied state and no data is sent to Google.
The provider is Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), acting as data processor. An international transfer of data outside the European Economic Area may take place, covered by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. More information in Google's privacy policy.
You can change your decision whenever you want, without giving reasons:
5. Third-party services
The site is served through Netlify's infrastructure, which may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to deliver the content (load balancing, network security). These mechanisms do not identify the user and are not used for tracking purposes.
Links to external sites — for example, to the Tarraco App Lab website — lead to sites with their own cookie policies, independent of this one.
6. How to delete or manage storage from your browser
You can delete the gc_portal cookie and the gc-lang local storage entry at any time from your browser settings, and you can block the creation of cookies for this or other sites. Bear in mind that, if you do, your client portal session will be closed and the site will stop remembering your preferred language; the rest of the website will continue to work normally.

7. If this changes
If in the future we add cookies that require consent (for example, analytics), this policy will be updated and a prior consent notice will be shown, in line with the AEPD's cookie guide, before they are set. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
For any questions about this policy you can write to privacidad@tarracoapplab.com.
This English version is provided for information purposes. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version shall prevail.
